Many students dream of becoming healthcare professionals but due to financial problems, only some of them can complete this dream. That’s why the Go Back and Give Back Scholarship program was set up. The opening of this program is to attract high achieving candidates who have a passion for healthcare, to study and pursue their dreams whiles at the same time giving back to the community that helped them to achieve their dream.
Purpose: The Go-Back and Give Back Scholarship Program wards scholarships to high school seniors who have interest in pursuing healthcare careers but due to financial difficulties are not able to do so.
Eligibility: The students eligible for assistance must be graduating high school or have graduated high school and is a Ghanaian Citizen who intends to continue their education in an allied health profession. Consideration will be given to academic achievement, financial need, and the students’ community service record. Students should apply on the form provided on the Medix Website : www.medixhealthcollege.com.
Guidelines: Scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments in January, April, and July of each year. Students must continue to attend classes and maintain no lower than a 3.0 grade-point average (or equivalent).
Amount: Each Scholarship awarded will be a minimum of $2000 annually to be paid in 3 equal installments
Deadline for applications: Ongoing
Renewal Process: This scholarship is not renewable. Only high school seniors intending to enroll at the Medix College are eligible.
