Vision of renal dialysis technology

To create a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, professional behavior, and encourages lifelong learning.

The Dialysis Technologist Profession (Renal Technologist)

As renal failure continues to be a growing international health problem, kidney disease is driving the growing demand for well-trained dialysis technicians. Dialysis technologists are employed in hospitals, diagnostics centers, and other medical facilities where dialysis treatment is conducted on patients. The number of dialysis technologists has the potential to increase in the coming years. Most technologist training has historically been done on-the-job, today’s healthcare institutions are seeking to employ well-trained technologists who possess the necessary knowledge and skills to fill this growing number of positions.

The Dialysis Technologist (Renal Physiologist) Program

This Dialysis Technologist (Renal Physiologist) Program provides students with the knowledge needed to perform as a dialysis technologist. The program will review renal dialysis machines, and review equipment maintenance. This Dialysis Technologist (Renal Physiologist) program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties required of dialysis technologist.

Role in Hemodialysis

The technologists play a mars role in delivering high quality hemodialysis therapy for the ESRD patients, they are engaged in Periodic inspection of the unit ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
